Serious Bread Bakery in Bay Saint Louis

Not sure why they have such good reviews. Seem like they would have more options available on a Saturday morning besides flat bread. I asked if they have cinnamon rolls and she said whatever is out is what we have. So basically just cookies. Whoopi do.

Very small and quaint place serving up fresh bread, cookies, and chicken salad. I met the owner, and she seemed to really go out if her way to teach us how to cut and store the fresh bread at home. She even followed us out to the parking lot to explain it to us. Apparently, she just list her husband recently and was a little overwhelmed. However, she was very pleasant, and excited to see people entering and purchasing her product. I would definitely make it a priority to stop by and buy from her quaint little bakery. On Sundays it's buy 1 loaf and the 2nd is half off.

The food is DELICIOUS. and the bread is pretty amazing as well. It's located in the middle of old town, so it's really quaint, and surrounded by southern hospitality. The sourdough is more of a sandwich loaf, so really soft and pillowy. Has a really nice sourness to it and a consistent crumb.My only complaints would be the two young ladies working the counter weren't the friendliest nor the most attentive. But with that, the owner was very hospitable and really knew her sourdough stuff. And get the chicken salad.
